Tuesday 18 June - North Hants
North Hants
Many of us were looking forward to returning to the home of Justin Rose and experiencing a delightful course in High Summer rather than Mid Winter. However the weather  turned out to be more like the Monsoon Season with all 41 Members and Guests receiving a fair old soaking.

The majority who completed the course found the greens almost unplayable in the latter stages of their round.

However despite all this doom and gloom, the majority agreed to return next year in the expectation that the sun will shine out  of a clear blue sky given our Centenary year.

Winner of the Langsdon Trophy was Bill Boniface with a commendable 33 points, just edging out Anant Suchak on countback. Team  winners were the aforementioned plus Trevor Miles with 84 points.

Many thanks to our Captain Jon for providing much needed refreshments at halfway and to Brian Mitchinson for not only the card marking but also the excellent prize table.
